Do this: Use these awesome beauty products

Recently, my new friend Emily wrote a blog post about her love of Almay oil free eye makeup remover pads.  Which sounds crazy, unless you have used them, in which case you would understand why they must be hoarded and kept near you at all times.

So that started me thinking, what products do I love enough to write a blog post about?

First is Smashbox Photo Op Under Eye Brightener.  They should give this to you in the hospital when you have a baby.  Here's your baby, here's their diapers, and here's how you are going to look alive for the next few months.  I generally don't wear makeup on the weekends, and every weekend I think, "Whew, I look tired."  I don't look any more tired than normal -- I'm just hiding it better during the week.


Next up is Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer.   I originally thought, "What a stupid product.  Who needs this?"  The answer is Me.  I look like I have superbly flawless skin with this on and makeup just glides on with this on.  It's primer for your face.  Awesome.



I use Dior AirFlash.  It's spray paint foundation. I spray it real quick on my face, boom, done!  It's very light and sheer.






This also made me think about products I feel I'm constantly on the look out for:

• Mascara.  I always end up with mascara under my eyes.  I don't know why it's so hard to create a product that stays where it's supposed to go.  I'm always looking for a good one.  I even purchased the Sephora Favorites LashStash Sampler, got 10 new mascaras, and still didn't like any of them really.
  
  
• Lipstick.  While I have a few standard favorites:
  
  I'm always on the look out for a new one.  Considering how long a lipstick lasts me, I may never need to buy one for years, but I'm always curious to try a new color or brand.  I generally have a makeup bag full of glosses and lipstick in my purse.
  
  
• All in one palettes.  I'm always convinced that I need an all in one palette, that I'm going to just toss in my purse and it's going to save me.  I never use it.   I either put makeup on or I don't.  (I even have one in my desk at work just in case I have to run out the door, and I've used it once.)
